Hi Guys thanks for the welcome. i am sure you guys and the rest on here can help. i will take anything i can have. can only improve my limited knowledge.
hopefully you may steer me in the right direction for the first of many questions to come. I have completed eight of the modules on the CCNA so far but am absolutely clueless with the live labs part. havent an idea how to begin with it. i have been looking on the net for inhouse classroom studying or looking for someone willing to teach on this topic hands-on. anyone out there keen to help. i am in london but am willing to travel a bit for some help and hands on teaching. cheers and thanks again

Hi Llew, if i tapped into you by the sound of it you would drain what i have managed to store. almost everything i learnt from four or three modules before has dried up. i can remember where the on/off button is on the router though lol see you in a quandry of what to study. guess what? i cant help you. its taken me almost 42 years to figure out what inspires me(and that i can earn some money from it) although it may have been wiser to have started off with the ccent first then the ccna. the milk is spilt so onwards i go.
study something that interests you and that inspires you and obviuosly that you can earn a decent living from. good luck and i am sure we shall chat again. keen to hear what you decide to do. one thing i learnt when i was a boy. success breeds success. start off with a small certificate that is easy enough and not a waste to do and then keep going from there. that is if you battle studying. enjoy

Although you have started studying the full CCNA, there's no reason you cannot still take the two exam method (CCENT then ICND2) to get your CCNA qualification. The material is the same, it's just the final exam that differs i.e. the CCNA 1 part exam tests from subjects across both CCENT (ICND1) and ICND2.

Good luck and feel free to give me a shout if you have any queries.
