We just got the call, and paul has gone from stage 4 with only 9 months without treatments to being that 1 in 5 cured with treatment! Fay just called us from the drs office. He has one last radiation treatment to take tommrow and then he is done with it!!!!!!

As most of you know, I've been dealing with my bestfriend who had breast crancer and then finding out 2 weeks later that joe brother paul had lung cancer. It has been a very rough 7 months for a lot of people but god has spared us with both of them. To me he has shown us mercy and gave us a miracle by not calling either of them home yet and giving us more time with both of our loves one.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who kept my loved ones in your prayers. It really help us! Trip please give your congergation the good news with a very big thank you from us. And thank you to all my friends here that kept tabs on me though all of this and stood by me when I felt like my world was turning upside and I didn't think I be able to hold on anymore. I know I was unbearable at times. Thank you for not holding it against me.

And I have to give a very very special thank you to Trip, Blue, Arr, Lee, Twizzle, Mr cheeks, Wizard, GBL,and Tinus. For each of you in your own way helped to keep laughter in my heart during one of the darkest period of my life. I can never repay that, but I want you to know that you each own a piece of my heart.

I'm going to end this here and I'm just too emitional at the moment and probably should'nt even typing at the moment. But I just had to share this great moment with all of you and thank everyone at CF because I know that all your prayers have helped!

Wooh! Hooh! That is really brilliant news!!

I know exactly how you must be feeling Mitz. A very close member of my family was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma just over a year ago, and she has only recently been given the all clear. It does feel like one heck of a weight is lifted when the good news comes along...

 

Thanks guys, I know I am now on cloud 9 at the moment! He can talk very much yet and is a real strain to hear him when he does. But that will change and his vocals will grow stronger after his last radiation treatment and I'm telling you I can not wait to hear that grouchy voice bossing everyone around again!

 

Oh that is excellent news Giddy! I am so glad for you and your family. I will keep you and yours in my prayers too.

Really please to hear the good news Mitzs! Its always a scary time when a family member is diagnosed with something as critical as cancer, but to then get news that its slowly clearing and they are fighting back, well that just lifts a hughe cloud from around everyone. You know life can get back to some semblance of normality etc.


Now about repaying us for all the support and laughter, realy, honestly theres no need, its what friends do even online ones who you may never meet face to face! (Plus i still have the scars from the last time i was repaid by a woman for something i did to her!)
