Good luck, I think you should be fine with a practical test having your A+.

I had a practical test for an interview with the council. Was a system I had to fix and the put on the network. They were quiet sly, had a monitor that the LED came on but no picture(check brightnes and contrast) so I swapped it over with another on in the room, unplugged HDD unseated memory, wrong network admin username/password (ask for local admin details b4 the test), disabled NIC, oh and the usual floppy in the drive(check that first)...

Any way my advice would be always remain calm and document everything you do.

    Best of luck

    Hi guys,
Just an update, had the interview and tests all seemed to go well, will here by the end of next week whether or not i was successfull.
The tests involved puting some components into a pc,RAM,Processor,HD,and CD Rom,all easy enough.
The written test was 10 questions, all basic enough. :D
so fingers crossed until next week.
