yeah they were, they were like 12 years old and 250MB each one which was a good size back then

Depends. SCSI drives that old may have a terminator link on the drive.

LVD drives tend *not* to have this - so you need terminators.

They definetly didn't have them, as he told me I was the only person to get this correct.

 

You just have to find the job that's the right fit. It's actually a *good* thing that they think you're too knowledgeable for a trainee job. Just keep applying for different jobs. Knock on doors if you have to. Ask other techs in your area... if you don't know any, find them - attend IT professional meetings, if you must. Your job is out there, somewhere. Don't give up.

 

I'm sorry hear about the rejection letter, but stay strong. You'll find your perfect fit before you know it. Like BosonMichael says, knock on doors if you have to! The hard work will pay off!

Didn't get that interview lat Tuesday, the main guy was sick but it's all happening today at 11 am. I have decided I am going to be me and get that job. Want your opinion though, I was reading on a site about interviews and one 'guy' said at the few interviews he'd had, when asked 'any other questions' he replied 'yes, are you going to give me this job?' he says it never failed. What's your take?
