I got my MCSE in Nov 2006 and hav been actively looking for a job since then I've interviewed for multiple jobs and today I got the call confimring my job which I start on Mon :D yes! finally I'm getting somewhere its a hardware support role at a DC I can't give the name of the company, but its pretty big and global.

They want me to get a RedHat Certifications either a RHCT/RHCE within 6 months, anyone know a good place to start on this? Anyone done this?

    Are they paying for it?

I suggest you download a trial version of RHEL from the site.. and get installing... There are a number of good books out there this and this might help...

So in 6 months you got to pass RHCT/RHCE? I think your best bet is to look for Red Academies in London... Greenwich Uni i know is one.. and their course isnt that expensive either...

    Congratulations on your excellent news!!

Yes, it definitely will be an academy given the circumstances by the sounds of it!

You should be able to allocate yourself a spare PC or laptop to use at home for Redhat also given the timeframe.
