Java certs?

    Anyone got one? I'd like an industry perspective on them.

    I think we've been through this on another thread - basically discussing the difficulty in learning programming in the same way you can cover some of the other stuff.

    There was a lot of talk about the OU and their Java modules...

    Can't remember where it's got to though. :oops:

    Not really interested in it as a route to learning Java.


    Interested in the general feeling towards them. Are they valued by employers and other developers? I'm sniffing around some Java forums as well. Might de cloak and ask some questions there. I'm positive they'll have an opinion :twisted:
