    Hi Guys

Sorry it's been such a long time since I have been around, got stuck into work and studying (I must update my profile) almost an MCSE now only got a couple of exams left to go.

I have a couple of problems at work that I know someone on here will be able to help with.

    1. Using Windows XP and when I use the Alt+Tab keys to switch between programs I no longer get the dialogue box showing the icons of the ruinning programs, it just cycles through the windows on the task bar, not a big thing but it is just annoying and I prefer the old way, anyone know how to change it back.

    2. Everytime I reboot I loose my Quick launch bar, I know this is probably a Reg tweak that is needed as I think it is reverting to an old setting for some reason, does anyone know the registry keys that I need to change?

It's good to be back around familiar faces, and I see lots of new ones, I'll stick around this time and not leave it so long in future.........now where's my signature (wonders off looking):biggrin

I have checked the userinit.exe line in the registry and it's there and correct, and the .exe file exists too.

Coolswitch is set to 1, still no go, this is doing my head in.

Sorry for pulling up an old thread but its a small world - I live in Mill Hill...about 200m away from the start of Silksworth.

Extremely weird. Thought they were only experts in Skiing and Bingo there! :biggrin :eyecrazy

SGUK is an expert in Bingo - and then spends all of his winners in Skiing... so i guess, your thought was right...
