Interested to find out if anyone has or does work for an ISP?

What's it like? Pay any good?

I mainly want to find out how you would go about applying for jobs with say BT or other top ISP providers in the UK can never see jobs with them advertised through the normal channels, I know they outsource a lot of work to India etc but surely the size if these companies means they have openings in the UK to an extent?

Of course there is companies like O2 that I know have a UK base they havent taken that leap abroad as they pride themselves on being based here.

    Your thoughts/experience people

the pay usually depends on who the company is and the experience you have. I have seen helpdesk IT jobs at ISPs paying minimum wage and I have seen some pay 25k
