    Hi All

I'm 40 years young spent most of my working life on the factory shop floors and currently HGV driver. I have always dabbled with computers, never gave up on sorting out my own IT issues at home etc but never gave thought that I could get into IT. I always thought you needed to have a degree in IT or something to get into any roles, I'm still not 100% sure but I believe taking certain certifications can help me change career for the last time.

Any helpful pointers or past discussions where someone like myself has gone from zero to hero etc please link me up.

I am currently thinking about taking the compTIA A+ certificate, again thoughts and comments most welcome, wherever I go from here...
I'm going to give it my best shot!!

Good Luck. CompTIA A+ is a good start. I know thats where i started my IT journey.

In my opinion i think some kind of Associate Degree in IT along with certification will go long way to help you get your foot in the IT job market.

    Good Luck
