ISEB Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL)

    Hi, I am going to have to do an exam for ISEB Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management (ITIL) , sound thoroughly boring ! Any one done this exam, any thoughts ?

    Welcome to CF. I've never heard of this cert but if its boring, then why are you doing it. Is it something that your boss wants you to obtain? :D

    Learning ITIL stuff will look good on my cv I guess !

    Although some of the ITIL material looks a little dull from the outside its actually no bad stuff to know. It's not technical and looks at how a company implementing an ITIL methodology works.

    It's all about supplying a professional service and running an IT department, but there are plenty of better explanations that that around here!! :blink:biggrin

    I did ITIL as its definately something for your CV.... better to have it and not need it then to lose out on a job because ITIL awareness is a prerequisite....

    Yep, the paperwork behind it is boring, but once you figurerd it all out, it does make sense, yet still boring...

    I guess the exam is multiple choice ? Does anyone know what score you need in order to pass ?
