    I'd say no :) Linux+ is a certification not a technology, meaning to successfully pass the Linux+ you are going to need study materials aimed at the subjects CompTIA have decided you need to know. I'm sure the above book would be a good introduction to linux in general but to pass an exam you should find exam specific material ideally as the foundation to your studies. The book you've mentioned would then be supplemental if you had enough time.
