or is the Prometric website the slowest, most user unfriendly yet important site you use?

I'm trying to book an exam in and its as if I'm on a 56k modem!

And then ask the operator to connect you? :D in an eccentric British accent?

It is a ridiculously hard site to navigate, I remember the first few times I literally had no idea where to click in order to get to my ****ing account.

Half the time I still don't  Click exams, click Microsoft, click country, then log in. What a load of cr@p. Why can't they just be normal and have the login page at the start :x

The trick is to book the re-certification as soon as you come out of the exam room, it generally takes around 3 years to navigate their site and I swear they move the pages around and make stuff hard to find like the local tescos move the bread and milk around the shop.

There ought to be a cert on how to use thier site. although you would have to re-certifiy every week due to the frequent page moving

Yeah! you're not alone as it takes me ages to book an exam on their web site. On the other hand that's if the page does not time out:)

It get's a whole lot worse if you try to cancel an exam and not just reschedule it. It took me literally, and I **** you not, 2 days of sporadic trying just to finally get it to accept it. It would timeout, do nothing, spring up an error, everything BUT give me a refund.

That site is like a pyramid scheme, whatever you put in, you better be happy not actually seeing in cash form ever again.

I know what you mean, it ok sometimes, but for the majority (whenever I've tried it) it's either very slow or comes up with errors...

Yeah, their website actually ended up being one of the catalysts for me doing the A+ and Net+ because at least I could book them through Pearson Vue whose site actually works!

I gave up on the Prometric site having found it near enough impossible to find out where my nearest test center was....

One of the best things to do if you have problems is to contact the test centre you wish to book at and ask them to book over the phone. Firstly they will be english (well 9 times out of 10) and will have your receipt waiting for you when you arrive for your exam (otherwise ask for it to be posted or emailed via a PDF). If the test centre refuses then ask them to read their Prometric T&C's. They are there to provide a service. There has been a shortage of Prometric (Microsoft) testing centres ever since it changed from Pearson VUE.

    Regards

Oh no mate, I have got it bookmarked, but still its a bloody nightmare of a site IMO in terms of speed and pages not loading
