    Hey dudes,

Does anyone know if DELL are correct in that they advise the Intel core 2 duo needs to be the ViiV version to be compatible with Vista home premium?

Never heard that before... why would it need to be? My P4 2.4 GHz doesn't have ViiV and I can run Vista Ultimate just fine...

Besides, I've never heard of a "ViiV" version of the C2D... anyone else?

I understood Viiv to be a standard collection of components to allow the PC to be used as a media centre Eg. TV Tuner, fast wake up, wi-fi, that kind of thing. The type of processor used it irrelavent.
