    Hi,

Throughout the past 7 years I have progressed through MCSA 2000, MCSA 2003 and onto MCSE 2003. I am currently working towards MCSE + Security.

I am currently interested in becoming a MCT. I have read the information on the Microsoft website and googled other MCTs on how to achieve this status.

CTT+ currently do a two part exam, computer based and video based.
Others do specific Microsoft trainer training courses.

I'm just looking to see how other MCT's achieved this status and whether or not you think this is a good route to go down. I'm really just interested to hear real life information on proceeding towards this certification.

    Thanks in advance.
    Cheers
    Paul

In my time (MCT from 2000 up to now) someone from Microsoft would attend one of your classes and report back to Microsoft.

I'm not a MCT yet, the route I'm going down is evidence from my employer that I current teach for them (in the UK, you can do that instead of doing the CTT+ or Train the Traner course). The only thing that is stopping me is that fact that you have to renew your MCT every year and it's about £225, that's with the discount of teaching for a MS academy...
