I have a HP IPAQ with a Tom Tom Navigator 3 wireless bluetooth. One of the best things I've bought because I have to travel up and down the country now and again and have a habbit of getting lost...

AJ I used to use a roadmap until I got lost in Glasgow. I only had to go 5 miles and it took me 2 hours as I kept getting lost and my car at the time kept overheating. I'm possible the worlds worst person for directions so I'm now £400 lighter but my stress levels are so much better when traveling...:D

Im generally a good navigator, so never really needed anything gimicky hehe
Im at home with an ordinence survey map, can tell you the time by the position of the sun, and other such clever things they taught me in the boy scouts

always had a natural nagivational skill though it seems, walked 2 miles to a parents friends house when i was 5 because i thought my dad was there (he had been and returned lol, had the cops out looking for me and all sorts), and i can also direct you half way around houston when i havnt been there for 5 years, go figure

perhaps the tom tom would pull more girls than a pile of OS maps and a silva compass though?
    DOH!

or maybe a high end merc with built in sat nav would proove more the babe puller? ;)

I use mapquest and print it out. I like when people honk their horns and give me the bird because I'm trying to read a piece paper while driving. I like to live dangerously you know. :biggrin
