After browsing the forums for a month, making a few posts and getting my first cert, think its time I introduced myself.

I'm Ant, 27 years old (I think, dont count em anymore) from the North West, UK. I have been spending the last 6 month or so recovering from a motorcycle accident, in which time I have decided to take on a new direction career wise.

Just passed now my A+ and now I can walk again I going to start to look for new employment, start from the bottom maybe a temp job or something while I continue studying for more certs.

Think I will study Network+ next but I'm not sure if there are any new book covering the 2005 objectives yet so may wait a bit and do the Win XP MCP instead, will have to look into.

Anyway I think thats me, I still ride motorcycles and have just bought a new one too, might seem a bit silly to continue riding but I love it and its what I wanna do. And for the same reason thats why I'm changing career, anyways been involved with computers from modding, clocking, tweaking and broking, I cant get enough of it.

Your story really is inspirational, in that whilst recovering from a serious condition, you jump in and pass A+ straight off. Brilliant m8 - hope you stick around, and good luck with your future certs
