    Hello everybody.

    My name is Ian, and I have been lurking in these forums for some time now, trawling through the archives and absorbing as much information as I possibly can. I am quite literally flabbergasted at the amount of information available within the certforums community, and the quality of the advice given by members is astounding.

    A little about me, I have had some experience working in the world of IT, but after being made redundant from my job a year ago, went off at a slight tangent (electronics test engineer). I am now looking to get back into IT, and have begun studying in earnest for some certifications. I have my nose buried in Mike Meyer's excellent A+ book at the moment (after reading glowing reviews, and many, many recommendations on this very website!), and am brushing up on my existing knowledge prior to sitting the A+ exams - next month hopefully...

    I look forward to being an active member of this friendly and helpful community, and hope to be able to share my thoughts and experiences with you all as I'm sure you will with me :-)
