Fine fiiiiine I can be in town from... early.

The second Birmingham gathering (chocolate ostrich night) was the first CF gathering I went to.

I was too nervous to meet you guys, so I sent my fella in first as cannon fodder to make sure you were all who I thought you were. I only recognised the group thanks to Raff

 

Despite my gregarious online nature, I am inherently a shy and nervous person when meeting people for the first time. I'm always paranoid about making a fool of myself, getting the wrong people, or a whole plethora of other things. Some days, I think I have more neuroses than Arnold J. Rimmer himself

 

I think he was also suitably intimidated by the situation. I had the distinct advantage of having spoken to them all online at some point - he was like the proverbial Rabbit in the headlights. If that Rabbit had been pushed there by Mrs Rabbit and told to introduce himself to the cars.

UCM - it's in Birmingham. Central(ish) and great for trains as it has three stations...
