Just to let you know that I was away for a week (on holiday... on a farm... with no internet access ) but am now back with a vengeance!

Welcome back, I thought you'd done one

 

Moi? Never. Had a fantastic week though - lots of mud, but still...

The best thing was that when I got back I realised that BT had disconnected my phone line and although I've paid in full they're unable to reconnect it until the 6th November.

No internet at home!

*incoherent mumbling*

 

BT are useless at everything, if we want to swap a port at work we have to give them 24 hours notice if we are lucky

 

Sounds like quite a haul. Well mark me down for one birthday drink owed for your birthday and when the next meet is organised you can cash in on the free booze

Haha, fair enough. I did German at AS-Level for a while and quite enjoyed it. The subject itself just seemed to require far too much time and effort put into it when compared with other available options.

Meh, maybe I'm just lazy.

Don't get me started on BT

Lets just say that IMHO they are by far the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. Hours upon hours of time on hold to be cut off.....Not getting any decent answers to my questions....Being made promises and given deadlines that don't keep. Grrrrrrr Ill shut up now but you started me off Wizard!

To balance out this post I will say that Freezone Web Hosting have IMHO by far the BEST customer service I have ever had. Whenever I have had a problem, migrating my email server, payment, whatever they have been brilliant, and there live chat thingy is open to about 1 in the morning!!

PS I don't have anything to do with Freezone it's just that that are the Anti BT

I agree..BT are the worst for customer service, that's why I switched to having my line rental with the Post Office!
