What Would it be and Why?

If I could change one thing on CF it would be to have a quiz of the day on the most popular certs on this forum! Such as A+ or N+ or MCDST8)

What would you change and why???

we used to have QOTD/W's here a while ago. The problem with it is that it takes a huge amount of effort to produce the questions without breaking copyright laws. Daily life kind of got in the way and it died off.

I have more then 1 wish, but since it can only be 1 I would have to say my one wish would be that I could give more free time to Blue, Gav, and JohnnyMX. I understand that people have to work and have quality time with their families, that must always comes first. But I still miss my mates something fierce at times on here. :( And they have always given the site a little something special.

When a new member joins there could be an advice box that opens informing them that they must post in the new members area before anywhere else and to use to the search feature before asking a question that has been asked a million times before.

I have a minivan... and it gets somewhere around 26-27 mpg... slightly better than my mid-sized car!

Thats less than my car (BMW 318i) :blink I do 250 miles a week and get about 33 - 36mpg but I am looking at trading it in for a more powerful model which will get me about 31mpg unless I decide to go diesel.

Unfortunately, most cars here in the US don't have great gas mileage... most are around 25ish. Many SUVs and minivans are in the teens.

Even hybrids (here - not sure about there) are disappointing in their fuel economy... costs an extra arm and leg, and you STILL only get in the high 30s-low 40s in miles per gallon!

Those hybrids are crap anyway, On the news the other days it was talking about that they really aren't as good for the environment as people think. A bit like those energy saving lightbulbs yeah sure they last a bit longer but you get mecury poisoning if one cracks.:blink

New members do recieve an email with instuctions of how to search for questions before asking them and directions to the search, FAQ, Rules and Guidelines. There is also a header that is displayed for new members that does a similar sort of thing.

Some people just dont read thing and want an answer without searching, its the nature of forums really.

Eh, I don't want to be greedy. 8)

Increase it to $5/item, and I won't take anything for posts of less than 10 words. :deal

I was thinking more along the lines of a practical test. (ie set a test which would enable you to understand more about the a+)I wish i could give an example but i would need to know more than i do about A+ but im sure some bright spark know what im trying to say.
