    Hello all,

I am in school for IT.
I have a question regarding the IC3 and the Comptia A+ certs. I am currently pursuing the IC3 cert and am going to take the exam soon. After that, I am planning to get my Comptia A+ cert.

Does this sound like a good plan or should i skip the IC3 and just do the A+?

    Thanks in advance guys!

If you are still in school and do not have any previous experience (and other IT certifications) and the school is paying for them... I would say go for the IC3 first, then the A+ as the IC3 gives a very gentle introduction both to the IT certification programs and give a nice foundation to build upon for the A+. Or an alternative to the IC3, but aimed at more the entry level technical skills skill would be the CompTIA Strata IT Fundamentals.
