I.T Career Average Age

    First job at 16 doing desktop support stuck that out 6 months, moved into networking ever since. 2 years later doing network security and never looked back. Now 18, still want to fly planes for a living :)

    I started as a Support Engineer at 22, and that's almost six years ago... Moved from Support into Networking

    I am 37 mate,and i am just starting out, i am sick of construction and i have always been good with computers ,ever since my vic20 :) my friend used to be a plumber like myself and he now works as a network engineer in New York,he is on about 90k and he loves his job,he didnt do his ccna till he was 33 he is 41 now.

    27 when I got my first job. 29 now. The two 1st line guys at my work currently, one of them is 20, the other 34. Age doesn't matter, all about enthusiasm and motivation for the job!
