    Just wanted to share with you all the wonderful news of me passing my CCNA exam yesterday.

    949 out of 1000

    So well pleased, looks like the 9 month OU course plus that little bit extra of studying on my own paid off
    :biggrin

    Thanks to all on Cert Forums as although I haven't been on here a lot lately, has been a great help to me since the inception of my new career! With some great advice and a great bunch of people, its great to know that a forum like this exists with like-minded people all in one place!

    Now onto the MCSA, starting with Windows 7, yipee!

    I'm planning on starting the OU CCNA course next January. It seems absolutely perfect, especially as it won't cost me anything to do (as the financial support is based on the previous tax year, and I've only just started working). It's pretty great that the OU value it as 1/6th of an Honours degree and should be pretty concrete evidence that it's not an entry level cert.

    Also, on a side not for anyone reading this, if you're currently a degree holder with CCNA, and you are thinking of doing CCNP or a MSc... enrol in the OU CCNP course. If you complete it, along with a dissertation, you'll become a CCNP (providing you pass) and you'll be awarded a Masters Degree in Advanced Networking!
