Hi all!!!! After my Network+ certification I moved on to a higher lever. I am in a new community now and I started to study 70-270, 70-290, 70-291 and 70-299. I hope my first examination to be in max 3 months, anyway I have a lot f experience with XP so maybe will be earlier.

So what books and training video do you recommend for the 70-270 exam?

    Thank you!!!

Hiya mate, sounds similar to my plan but mine changed a bit as I got two free MCTS exams that have to be taken end of the month.

I've passed 270 and 290 using the CBT Nuggets videos and Exam Cram2 Book for each. With Exam Cram books you get a CD with a testing engine. Its very important once you've watched the videos and read the book that you do the test questions over and over again until it sinks in.

Personally it took me 6 weeks to study for 270. About 4-5 for 290. I've had a break because my son was born but 4-5 weeks is about my average per exam now (CompTIA Security+ next Thursday :().

I do about 15-20 hours study per week.

    Cheers

    James
