I finally got a job

Its finally happened - I have my first IT role. Its in technical support so it has worked out as planned.
Its taken over a year but that time was spent studying for the Comptia A+, which I strongly believe made all the difference.
To anyone else just starting out - hang in there. Get the lower level certs: A+, N+. They will help both on a CV and in an interview when you get asked lots of technical questions so you can back up paper certs with knowledge.

Congrats mate on the job. I personally found the A+ excellent not because of the cert as I don't think it holds that much sway but for the extra knowledge it gave me whilst studying it. That's why I think people starting out can't go wrong starting with the A+ (eventhough it's overpriced).
