    Good morning,
Running Hyper-V core server with 2 guest vm's, I have backed up the entire host server using BackupAssist which creates one large vhd for bare metal recovery. I would like to perform a test restore of a guest vm to the same host but different directory to ensure the backup works ok.

Using wbadmin I've managed to get versions and items, in example below its the "Component = 4189DEEB-2550-4A67-BA62-0F4A74BA769E (\4189DEEB-2550-4A67-BA62-0F4A74BA769E)" I want to restore to a different location as this will be a backup copy of a live vm.

    c:\>wbadmin start recovery -version:08/06/2010-10:03..............

Anyone any clues how I proceed to restore only the guest vm [Component = 6475C902-14DC-4B64-809C-0203D4B318D3 (\6475C902-14DC-4B64-809C-0203D

    Kind regards
