htm attachment?

Hi Guys

Any of you seen this wierd thing in Outlook Express, when you get emails with attachments it seems to add an extra ".htm" file attachment. When its opened its just a copy of the email in .htm format.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to stop it?

I suspect this happens even without attachments.

It means the sender hasn't changed the default settings in OE, which is to send text and HTML at the same time. One of the reasons I hate OE.

Get your correspondant to select text only and life will be happier!

Without disclosing your e-mail sender's e-mail address, can you tell us at least the domain from where the e-mail is coming from? e.g. @certforums.co.uk ?

 

its a company email address.

Tools->Options->send->Mail sending formats.
