    Hi, 2nd post

I was looking at doing the vendor exam, and now i have obtained my HP learner ID, im now able(i think) to book a exam, but was wondering do i have to goto a prometric test centre or is it online at home?
When i look at HP2 exams it says online... does that mean i book a slot with a test centre and go online at home and do the exam?

Has anyone else done any of these or HP2 exams?

Also on the CompTia A+ the 2 part theory and practical, is the practical in a test centre with hardware/software senarios or is it a online visual problem senario type exam?

Thanks and hope people can understand what im saying.

    Paul.

I cant answer your question about HP but I seriously doubt you do it online at home as you would be able to find the answers on the internet and get 100%.

As for compTIA exams and this is probably the same as HP you book through pearsonvue or prometric, you find your nearest test centers on their websites take the exams at the test center you chose. All compTIA exams are multiple choice done on a computer at a test center as are Microsoft exams so I would guess HP are the same.
