Not Cisco related, but seemed close enough.

I'm looking for resources on how to go about configuring some VLAN's on HP switches.

Google hasn't really helped me much, hence asking here!

    Any suggestions appreciated!

its VERY similar to how its done on cisco routers, for the most part the procurve seems like its a butchered IOS just oemed

you will have a config context, an interface context and vlan contexts just like in an ios
one thing to watch out for you will have tagged and untagged commands
untagged will basically set that port as an access port on that vlan

whilst tagged will make it a trunk port (ie it keeps the vlan tag on the frame, and doesnt strip it off ala untagged)

should be easy enough to work out though

    simongrahamuk,

Here's what I found by going to hp.com and typing in "procurve" in the search field. I hope this helps.
