Then it's the wrong RAM then, right?

I can feel a new CF award coming on.

He might not be able to max it out yet but at least he can load up the OS.

Looked back at the website, and I just clicked the wrong button, they have both types side by side.

It needs to be twice the physical size to plug into the slot.

15% restock charge, happy days, Craigie was to much of an eager beaver when ordering :)

    Hi,

I have put together a video here - that gives an indication of the ML115 G5's start-up and running noise.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

    Hi all,

There are quite a few comments about people finding that the ML115 G5 sounding like a jet engine - this is true for about 30 seconds when first starting it though it should quieten down to the levels of a normal PC after this time and when running normally.

Just a quick message to remind you that when upgrading your ML115 G5 to the latest firmware revision (2009.07.06 29 Jul 2009) you may find that its fan speeds max out continuously after the firmware upgrade. To resolve this issue you will also have to apply the Management firmware update (3.11 (A) 29 Jun 2009) even if you don't have the ILO installed.

    Cheers,

    Simon
