    fixed, i went and picked up a non-ecc corsair 1x8Gb 1333MHx ddr3 and it works. i was able to install vmware esxi 5.0.0 as well. now working on converting some images, and will go pick up another corsair stick.

    One of the guys in my office is selling his 8GB ram for his HP Micro (the latest Gen) for £25 if anyone is interested? 2x 4GB. He's recently upgraded to 2x 8GB
