Hi all,

I'm up late, watching Godfather Part 2, but as normal a laptop is never far from my side. How's it going? Work, relationships, holidays, life in general. I've noticed a few regulars viewing the index too.

I'm looking forward to starting my new security related job on Monday. Its my baby boys 1st birthday the week later so things are going great. I think we'll take him to Chester Zoo. He's never seen elephants, zebras etc so I'm really looking forward to seeing his face. He's a very nosey kid. Loves to watch the world go by.

My new job is an hours drive there and an hour back so I'm thinking of brushing up on my Espanol with CD's in the car. I've also decided I'm going back to Jujitsu once I get settled at my new base.

I know I start a lot of threads, what can I say, I like talking to IT people/nerds (like myself)

Yeah don't blame you Wizard but I just hate a quiet forum! What can I say. I'm professional but I like to network, maybe too much but things are going pretty well so I'm never shy to open my mouth (or type my keyboard).

Good work GBL. I love a blast of old music, youtube is great for rare videos. I love a bit of music after a drink. I get nostalgic too and end up looking into all kinds if a computer is near by and my girl is in bed ha ha emulators, old games, music, tv shows. Its the only time I get to go old school

Great choice mate! I'd go for either the episode Viv sets fire to Neil because he's the cricket stumps, one of the first episodes when they set fire to Neils bed and Neil says "thanks guys, I could of burned to death in my sleep" ha ha or that episode where Rick locks his door, jums on his bed and a buzz saw comes out ha ha classic!

PS One thing I like about Nelson Mandella is it gets the job done. I'm sure you know what I mean ;)

 

Will you be aiming for/doing the SSCP and/or the CISSP, to go along with your new security job?

It's excellent, watching you kid grow up I'm just waiting for Joshie to be alittle bit older, so that I, ahem, I mean he can enjoy Disney Land Paris

Ha ha me too mate! I can't wait to go to Disney. We want another kid so I could be in for a long wait!

I will be looking into doing the SSCP and CISSP my old mate. You know me, sir post a lot. No doubt I'll start a thread when I'm getting into it.

 

So how many kids are you two aiming for? For us, we agreed 1.

I'll be posting about my experiences with the SSCP after my exam at the end of the month

2 I think mate but we'd go nuts and have 4 if we coud afford it. I'm an only child so I want at least 2. Best thing to happen to you aren't they. We've just spent £300 in minutes on clothes and this push trike thing for Myles 1st birthday in a week and a bit.
