Hi Everyone,

Hope all is well.

I was recently introduced to the idea of working in the I.T. field by a friend of mine who has been working in there for a while. I looked around online and found that it could be a field I would be interested in.

During my search I've been visiting the forum for about a week just reading different people's stories and journeys out of jobs into I.T. careers, and have been enjoying the advice given by those experienced to those of us who are new on what to try and what to avoid, advantages and disadvantages of different certifications etc.

I hope to develop a greater understanding here and hope to in turn then give back just as much as I have - and will have - gained.

Thanks for the welcome guys.

I was trying to make a thread which would include a short plan I had and asking for advice on a couple of things.

When I tried to make the thread I was met with the following;

Re-read the rules and tried look at the FAQ and couldn't understand, took words out of the thread as they may have caused this but still no avail. Any suggestions?

Thanks for the reply. I have no links in the post I made. Thinking back on it now could it be that I mentioned some big store names in the post within the context of not being able to find Meyers' All-In-One guide in their stores.
