I am just waiting for the paperwork to arrive so I can read it and fully understand it and sign it.

Then hand in my resignation at my current place and move on.

 

Don't do anything till everything is signed and sealed at the new firm. If you need a medical, make sure that is sorted definitely!

the only thing that worries me is, he has not sent the position description he said he will send it once reviewed he sent me the employment contract first because he wanted to get that out of the way soon he said once he is done reviewing my job description he will mail me.

Is this something to worry about? Does this sound dodgy?

 

How can you sign a contract of employment without a job description? By signing the contract, you are agreeing to the responsibilities in the job description.

That's a bit crazy.
