If i'm given 3 routers and 3 switches to start with and to create 6 different departments in different locations

    USA, Canada, HQ (HeadQuarters)

    - 6 departments in total

Sounds a little bit vague, before anyone can help i'm sure you'll need to detail it a little better

There seems to be a lot of new people joining the forum with a question of late.

No welcome, no intro, just a question.

You will find people a lot more receptive to make the effort to help you, if you make the effort to introduce yourself properly.

But hey, thats just me, call me old-fashioned....

Your homework assignment involves VLANs, Router On A Stick and VPNs. It also involves understanding that a 'converged network' is one that handles voice and data together, rather than one that spans multiple offices (though it may do so).

Let us know how you get on

that annoys me too. Someone logs on asks a question then only logs back on if they get a reply that helps them. Sometimes they dont even do that.
