How much notes do you make reading the myers book?

    How much notes do you guys make whilst reading the mysers book?

    I jot down stuff I have not heard of before, and also anything he says is an Exam Essential or a Tip!

    I would say its better to practice things rather than make notes (ofcorse you can't practice the OSI model, you will need to note this). Im guessing your studying A+, the best practice you can do that will make things stick it to actually build a computer, understanding what CPU goes in what socket and what type of ram to use will seem so boring if your just memorising numbers, if you actually do it in practice it makes much more sense :)

    Ebay was my best fried for old computers at £30 a go :)

    I did take very minimal notes when reading it as I had IT exposure for around 10 years, so most of it was second nature to me.

    I found the Exam Cram by Pearson much more beneficial in the end.
