I tried to search the forums but don't think the question has been posted before.

Basically I am just wondering, how many MCP exams must you pass before you are an official "Microsoft Certified Professional"?

pass any MS exam any you become an MS Pro...

 

pass the first one and u r an mcp, actually pass any microsoft exam and u r an mcp

U do have to do 70-271 & 272 to become an MCP i think, gaining the MCDST at the same time as well. Could be an MCP twice over tho.

The clue is that MCP stands for 'Microsoft Certified Professional'.

So what does that mean then? The DST is two MCP's, so you're an MCP after the first one? Either way I'm one in 70-270 now anyway

Yes becuase you have passed an MS exam, so that makes you certified
