Hi everyone!

Glad I found this cool site! Can anyone please help...How long does it take to get your results and confirmation of your certification as I have a job interview in a month's time and wanted to take my A+ exams in about a week or so and get certified before the interview.

You get your results straight away. The exam centre will give you an exam summary sheet that contains the info you need to ask CompTIA to send out your cert.

It shouldn't matter anyway right? So long as you pass you can take your score sheet (as soundian said) as proof and just say the piece of paper is on the way.

It takes about 5-6 weeks to get your hands on the actual cert, although there's a tool for confirming your status on your CompTIA account page.

You'd better nip over to the New Members Introduction page and introduce yourself before some of the more surly forum members arrive.

 

I got my cert through the post pretty quick about 2 weeks.

 

Lucky you. I'm still waiting on my N+ which I passed over 3 weeks ago.
2 weeks is pretty quick as well since they ask you to wait 5 working days before requesting the cert. Do you live next door to them?

 

both my compTIA results took 5 weeks although I got my MCDST the other day.
