    Hi All,

As a parting gift from my previous employer they sent me on some official Microsoft courses, but also paid for about 8 exams for me on Prometric. I would simply move them forward as I went along sitting one every month or so.

A good friend of mine has just told me that I might only be able to do this for up to 6 months!!! Can anyone else confirm this please?

If this is the case I'm in hot water because I still have 293, 294, 298, ICND1 and ICND2 to sit before November!!!! I could always pay for these exams myself but thats not how I roll. If its been paid for I'll cram and take my chances seeing as its not cost me.

Thanks all, I'm panicking now

    Jim

To my knowledge (this is based on loose info), you have until the end date of the voucher - but I could be mistaken.
Best bet to ring up Prometric/Vue for the correct info.

Thanks mate, will do but you wait for ages and end up talking to someone in Holland. They paid using the works credit card if that makes a difference?

Not a problem for a man of your calibre surely ? :p

Seriously, don't know about vouchers but on straight booking/paying I had one that expired after 6 months with Prometric.

No seriously tho mate thanks for pointing that out cos its a couple of hundred quids worth of exams and if I needed to extend or something it was my previous employers company credit card so I've got no chance.

Once I pass 299 on Thursday I might get my CCNA out the way just to be safe ha ha 70 hours a week ah yeah, is that all you got ha ha

    From Prometric :

"Vouchers are not returnable or refundable. Your vouchers have an expiration date, also referred to as an Order End Date. They must be redeemed and the exam must be taken prior to this date or they will become invalid. Expiration dates are most often 12 or 6 months from the purchase date and are set by Prometric's Client for whose testing program the voucher is valid. Once a voucher has expired, it can not be extended or reinstated and the fee paid is lost. Each voucher is imprinted with information about the testing program for which it is valid, the expiration date and other terms and conditions for its use."

Can't seem to find anything on direct payments.

Pearson Vue - site is down for maintenance.
