    Hi all,
I was wondering how long Certifications are valid for?
I heard that the CCNA was only valid for 3 years but I cant find confirmation anywhere.
Validity periods on the following would be appreciated

    MCDST
    CCNA
A+ (and the other 2 comptia certs if possible please)
    Thx all

The A+ and N+ are valid for life and all other compTIA certs are for life as far as I am aware. The MCDST is for life.

The CCNA expires every 3 years.

Certs validaity is governed by the individual exam vendor:

Comptia does not have an expiry date of their cert, they do have a "valid thru" date for the exam material that you were tested on though, for an example:

And it applies to all Comptia certs, see here.

    Cisco certs

    See here.

    Microsoft certs

For the certs on the older MCP->MCDST->MCSA->MCSE route

    See here.

For certs on the newer MCTS->MCITP route

    See here.

Hope this helps, the best place for info is direct from the source :)
