yep, its a cool thing to use plenty of channels on there.

And if Freddy Freeloader is reading this there is even an Ubuntu channel, I haven't looked at that before but if its anything like the other computer channels then it'll be good.

I only have 2mb, I just limit how many episodes on my subscribed channels download at once.

Thanks for the review Phoenix - I've never really looked into it before, and I'm always missing out on news or hot topics from some place - I may take some time to investigate further.

Never a truer word said. I'm inspired by this thread to write up my GReader experience on my blog. I too have used RSS sporadically for years. I was never really taken by it until I got in to using GReader.

Same as yourself, I too have found that since consolidating the sites I frequent most for information in to one source, GReader, I am digesting FAR more information than simply browsing a web site. I discard a lot more useless information too.

I find GReader has also increased my productivity in the workplace, with less time spent searching websites now I have everything I need in one place. I continue to surf the web though, mainly across sites that do not update frequently enough to warrant an RSS subscription or sites I would just visit on a unique basis.

Thanks Phoenix by the way for your list of feeds in the other thread you made. Very useful indeed!

    Thanks for the link(s). :D

FeedDemon works in perfect sync with the Google Reader to provide real-time content updates. Pretty awesome!
