Every so often there is a month were people vote on members who have been helpful or made some good contribution to the site in someway.

To give a person rep points there is a little icon on the right hand side of every post if you click on there you can give that particular poster points. As you are new you can give only one point for help, if I give someone rep points I can give 43 points.
