Do I need to disable the PCI video card that is currently installed. Do I need to remove it from the slot?

    Thanks,

go to add remove hardware select the card you want to remove this will take all the software of and disable the card then you remove it from its slot.

If you leave the card in and remove all the drivers every time you boot windows will give you a message saying new hardare detected.

Edit I dont think you can install agp in pci agp goes in agp slots

AGP AKA (Accelerated Grpahics Port) is a dedicated graphics bus on the MBoard, so yes it has its own slot. Uninstall the PCI card, and remove it from the board to clear up any confusion. Install the AGP as normal and away you go.

Depends on the unit and OS. In theory you can run an AGP and a PCI video card at the same time into two screens. In practice this can be somewhat fiddly to setup.
