Hey Guys

Another recent thread prompted me to come up with this idea. As I recall, the good ship Bluerinse recently offered to host a document that another Member had created as part of their studies but didn't have webspace for, and it's currently being posted in another thread. I was just thinking that if anyone else has any files or documents that they've created and are willing to share but are unable to, then I'm more than happy to offer some of my webspace for this at no charge.

The only conditions to this are as follows:

• It is LEGAL and FREE FROM COPYRIGHT.
• It's a reasonable filesize - my bandwidth is generous but limited.
• You have it backed up on your own PC or elsewhere.
• If my hosting goes down for whatever reason, I will try and restore the resources ASAP, but can't make any promises.
• I reserve the right to remove material without notice.

Gav- Great idea, do you host your own server? I seem to recall you mentioning some time ago something about 2000 server....

 

This will be done using the hosting I get from work, Boycey - more reliable and faster. That's why I can't vouch for uptime etc though.

 

I've got seven spreadsheets I made as crib-sheets for my A+ covering things like CPUs and common connectors. They're nothing special, just layed out very plainly on single sheets of A4.

They come in at under 100k for the lot, if you're interested Gav I can email them to you and see what you think.

I think it would still be best if links were kept to related threads that you either start, or add to - for example, there is already a training resources thread at the top of this particular board, I believe.

This one is purely to make our Members aware of the idea. Any other questions, just ask.
