HND Software engineering

    Hi folks,
    I have just finished a HND in software engineering. I done some basic JAVA and done VB6 and a module in MS SQL. I would like to continue on the programming route and would like some advice.
    Should I go the MCAD route (I have no web based programming experience) or go to university and do a 1 year BSc in computing top up?

    Welcome to CF!

    Whilst I'm no programmer I believe that programmers get more results (employment wise) through a degree, than with certs, so that could be an option.

    The above said though, what is to stop you from doing both? Buy a self study guide and start on the cert whilst you wait for Uni to start in September - Best of Both Worlds!
