    Hey all

Been reading this site for about a week after a mate (hey steve!) mentioned it but just signed up.

Currently working towards the 291 exam after going on a training course last week. From reading on here though the course didnt seem to cover everything ie.. wsus/ris so i need to cram a bit before doing the exam. Hoping to sit the test within the next month or 2.

Looks like a great site with some knowledgeable people so may be asking for help in the near future!

    Cheers

Sure, it was the FastTrack 2 course with xpertise. 2276c and 2277c.

I havnt taken the Fast track 1 which is the 290 exam where wsus and ris are covered.. But still would have thought we would have touched on it in our course if the exam is going to ask about them...

    Thanks for the warm welcome.

Thats a coincidence, Im just booking the Knowledge In A Box MCSA and network+ with xpertise through my employer.

How did you find the training and support there? Would you recommend it or suggest I go elsewhere?

I enjoyed the training and would prob use them again. Books are great an all but some things need explaining/questions answered which was helpful. But as i said above there was a few things missed out of the course i did. Other than that they just read from the book which can get abit information overload sometimes.. (which could be why they missed a few things out in my course with there being a 2nd edition now!)

Ah right - we had the choice of Altrincham, Malmesbury or maidenhead... Chose maidenhead. It was ok but could have been better.. A few of my collegues have been to the Altrincham one and said thats better - or it could be that they send you down the pub for lunch at Altrincham that could cloud my judgement!

    good luch with the course.
