Hi!

New member and came across this forum when googling the MCSE certificate path.

A bit about myself... I used to work on the IT support helpdesk for about 4 years but quit it 5 years ago to work in fitness as a personal trainer. It has been some great 5 years but now me and my wife have decided to move out of London and I know it's going to take me too long to build up a PT client base again and since it is so unreliable income wise I rather start working for a fixed salary again. So, I've decided to start over in the IT and try and get an IT helpdesk position again.

Going to make a trip to my library this afternoon and see if I can pick up some study material to skim through in order to find out what's ahead of me. There seems to be a lot of good info and advice here on this forum as well so I'll be hanging around quite a bit, although I don't think I'll have anything usefull to share for quite a while.

I wish you luck... competition is fierce for entry-level IT jobs right now. Too many people making a career switch wanting to get into IT, and too few entry-level jobs.
