    Yo Guys, glad to see many active members!
    Let me ask a few questions? Microsoft recently launched new certification series. So
    a newbie like me shold start MS server2003 MCSE or new certs MS server 2008 to MCITP?:rolleyes:
    Currently i am working in a different industry and i want to shift my career.
    How you guys think of market demand for MCSE?
    Now i'm 31 years old. Probably i am too old to start a new carreer, but i love to learn IT which is my hobby.
    Your idea will be very helpful for me.

    Welcome to the forums...

    I'm not a MS guy at all - so no bias, but to answer your questions, MS is still the dominant technology in the corporate world (i.e. AD; Exchange). MCSE is popular and rightly so.

    However, a newbie should probably be starting with more entry level certs. Such as the A+ (Comptia) and MCDST (MS). The MCSE is more for folks that have real-world experience with servers in a Microsoft environment.
