    What sort of expeience do you have working with routers and networks?

    I have only recently started working with cisco equipment so been browsing the net for futher info and stumbled upon this forum.

    Loook to be a useful forum.

    I would suggest a better bet would be to go for the network plus qualification before starting down the ccna route, unless you have at least a year or 2 experience the ccna can hinder you getting employment. like the mcse, a ccna is expected to have experience on real world kit in companies.

    A+ and network plus are useually the two best entry level certs to go for, these give you a solid grounding and an insight into just what is involved in the job.

    Thanks for the useful comment. However I have many years experience in IT/Telecomms and they A+ would not cover much new ground for me, hence the reason I am going for CCNA.
