There is no such thing as 'too novice'. You just need the enthusiasm to leave 'novice' behind!

I have to say that if you are *really* novice then CEH is not going to be easy!

Hey......I'm really impressed to have so many replies in just a few minutes while I was digging all the threads in the forum related to CEH....

I'm taking a bit challenge and risk going for CEH I think. But according to my own experienc I have to set something high for myself otherwise I'll never get myself going...

If you truly are a novice, then it won't matter if you can pass the CEH or not... what do you plan to do with it once you get it? Companies won't hire individuals for a security admin job with a certification and no experience.

Good question. But I'm not doing that for job hunting really. I've got a promising prospective in that (at least I hope so -_-!!) as I've got doctor's degree in pharmacy.....

Purely doing all computing stuff for my own interest really. Sounds crazy.....

For that, you don't need to take a certification exam... just study the material. Why spend the money on an exam that will do you no good in the "real world"?
